Respectfully, of course, I completely disagree. I find myself liking What If quite a lot. Mostly, because its not considering itself the same Canon as the rest of the shows. I judge FATWS quite harshly because, for me, it failed to live up to its own standards (character & story) and failed to be satisfyingly entertaining. Immediately What If sets the non-canon, non live-action, contained and thus less serious tone. I mean, one episode has a zombie cap, another has a anti-hero Thanos and the most out there was a wickedly devious Hank Pym and Doc Strange. The question should be just as much As If as What If. But still because of the set up, the show allows itself breathing room and earns a larger degree of salt than the others. For that reason I try to sit back and enjoy and not take too seriously where I don’t. Just a suggestion.
